Robot programming has to take into consideration the expertise in technology coupled with strong domain knowledge with respect to the context of use of the robot. Even after taking these points into account, errors can still occur, for example resulting in damage to the real robot. This application has been designed in AR which simulates the robot in the real world and produces a similar result as if it were executed in practice with the real robot.
The knowledge limits of school children were taken into account during the design of the interface and the functionalities of the application. The app is used to program different robots in the AR world, with minimal programming knowledge. Finally, the goal is to execute the program on a real robot.
